Last Monday, Ino and I went to Ulam Nation in Brgy. Plainview in Mandaluyong City. It is near Citihomes so instead of going to Tapa King, we checked out this restaurant for a change.

The place was huge and spacey. However, the food plating was simple and the taste was also so-so.

Perhaps it was just me having a very high expectation when it comes to restaurants like this, or perhaps, that it is also the reason why not many people dine in. Aside from the ongoing road construction by the DPWH in Plainview, I think they chose a place that is sadly impassable.

But that’s not my problem.

I guess, if the food quality is spot on, people would go out of their way to go to this place because the ambiance is really nice.

Perhaps, it was my choice of food or perhaps it was my appetite on that day. I can’t give them a good rating ’cause I was not really that satisfied, but this restaurant can do better.

Perhaps it’s the branch. I really don’t know. All I know is that, the price is too steep for a so-so quality of food.

Hopefully, the management can improve their food quality in the future and more customers would be interested to dine in.

I give this a rating of 3 out of 5.
